It’s hot

I get back from the dominican republic and it’s hot out here.  Actually, today is the perfect weather I think.  It’s hot, not humid, with a little wind, no clouds.  It’s perfect.  In the d.r. it was sunny but cloudy at the same time, so I guess you could say partly sunny if you’re an optimist and partly cloudy if you’re a pessimist.  I had a fun time there.  It would be fun to go with people my own age, but I had fun with Joan too.  She was a russian rockstar on that beach.  Basically we just went to the beach.  We got down there last thursday at 4:30, but they took us to the wrong resort so we didn’t end up getting to ours until 6:30 lol.  I didn’t mind.  I was in a foreign country.  Then Friday it rained all day.  So me and my mom just sat on the balcony and played crazy 8’s all day.  she bought cards.  Most of the time we went to the beach, we also took time to go on an excursion to santo domingo, which was a four hour drive there, and a four hour drive back, but I like seeing historical stuff.  Other than that we just went to the beach.  Our room was poolside on the third floor..by the swim up bar, which i didn’t go to because A. i didnt wanna go alone and b. i was with my mom.  Saturday night however, I did get drunk off margaritas, and I think mom did too.  SHe tried to crash a wedding lol.  We went to the casino.  then we went back to the room and watched harry potter on abc family.  I decided that night I would go to the ‘disco’, so I went alone, for a half hour, and then I couldn’t take being there alone anymore.  Me and joan got on each others nerves because we were around each other pretty much 24/7 for a week, but overall it was a great vacation.
