Back again

It has been almost 3 months since I last wrote in here, and in this time many things have happened. For some reason I just didn’t feel like writing anymore. Today it has changed back again.
 
My friend from our draughts team has died a week ago from his brain tumour. The cremation was last Thursday. Naturally everything was very emotional, but also a nice way to remember his life. The speeches were well prepared and we didn’t have to line up in a forced way to condole the family. This was done more informally in the restaurant reserved for this occasion.
 
I’m still working on my thesis. Sometimes I feel like I want to quit, and sometimes like I just have to carry on for a couple of weeks more to have it finished. I have many doubts.
 
Saturday afternoon I went to the ballet performance of Giselle. Students can get a last minute discount there, which meant I got a first category seat (row 13 in the middle) for €10 instead of €59! I had never gone to the ballet before and I must say that I have missed a lot. The dancers were very good. The part before the intermission started out on a happy note and ended with her going mad and eventual death. After the intermission the ghosts on the cemetery made for a very impressive spectacle.
 
For some reason I am very tired lately. People at work also notice. I can’t pinpoint the cause. I believe I am eating and sleeping enough. I don’t know. It is just weird.
