I should be working on my thesis

Today I had planned to work on my thesis whole day.

We had a meeting today (the 10th) at 11 (o’clock) at the 8th (floor). This to discuss our translation project. After this Fransy went to Alan, and I waited with Jel till she was done. Then we got into a discussion of the final deadline for our BA thesis. It is the 30th of June, but is that the deadline for the first complete draft, or for the entire thing, not being able to change anything anymore after this date? Fransy went to Theo (from the exam committee) to discuss.

It turned out to be for the entire thing. But through clever tricks and loopholes it may be possible to edit till 2 weeks after in July. Fransy was not too happy about this. Then we were chatted for a while till Jel had to leave. Fransy and I went to the library for books and copies. After this we printed some articles and bought a farewell present for Jeffrey (our supervisor in the teacher training). Then a walked her to the tram.

Helping Fransy does take a lot of time!

After checking some email and having dinner I finally got around to my thesis. So I worked from 5.30 till 9, that’s all.

Btw, during a break I told Fransy about this diary, and we discussed whether or not she should read it. I wouldn’t mind if she did, but I doubt she will. It just feels too weird.
