nothing special

 Today I had a meeting with Alan, my thesis supervisor. We discussed methodology and procedure. About this I have to write a couple of paragraphs so that the exam committee can OK my plans. Alan is really helpful acting as a sounding board so that I can reflect on how to approach the topic of language in weblogs.

After this I went to have dinner. I think it is really handy to eat something warm around noon, just to get it out of the way. In the evening I usually eat bread. After this I went online for a bit, and then I had class. We had a legal interpreter as a guest lecturer, which was quite interesting. After this I went online again, reading online diaries (most OD). I am also reading Harry Potter (the 3rd book), and I must say that I am hooked. I will try to finish all 6 books before the seventh hits the shops. This seems a pretty hefty task since the books are quite long. The reason I eventually decided to read Harry Potter is because if I’m going to be a teacher then I should know something about what children read these days.

Tomorrow I have to teach again. I am going to do a piece of The Wind in the Willows, and I hope they are going to like it.
