summer: Edwin

Yesterday I played against Edwin, by far our worst player. This meant that my game was done in less than half an hour. It is never any fun playing against him, but everyone has to do it sometime. Herman also won easily, from Piet. The most interesting game of the night was between JP and Cock. JP tried an encirclement, in combination with a pushed forward edge draughtsman on 15. Positionally speaking it was a disaster. But with a surprising, yet easy, combination JP won. He gave Cock a king, and using a sticking move he captured the king and three draughts men.
