summer heat

 Some people like the weather we’re having now. These are truly the first warm days of summer, probably even the first days of a heat wave. It’s currently over 30 degrees, it’s humid and muggy. When you combine this with my asthma you get a situation that you don’t want to be in. Saturday I stayed in all day sitting in front of the desk fan. I had actually planned on going to the city centre and watch the new Batman movie, but it just was to warm to do anything. Every physical activity seemed too much and I only listened to the radio and watched television (Tour de France and sitcoms).

Yesterday I had to work, luckily. They have air-conditioning there. Waiting at the bus stop at Schiphol was almost a problem, though. It was just too warm and I had to use my bottle of water in order to cool myself down.

 Today I plan on staying at university till after the sun goes down. Temperatures here a nice and cool. Wearing a t-shirt only can even become too cold.
