I played an attacking game against JPD. It seemed that I had a better position, but when I placed a seemingly strong outpost on 14 everything turned around. He had the better position now. Then I made a terrible mistake in a position which was still analytically tied. He didn’t profit, we both missed an easy 2 for 3 combination in a heavy time shortage situation. After this JPD didn’t take the best chances and the game turned into a draw.

After 38-32? 27×29 34×32 black could have won via 5-10 14×5 18-23 5×28 22×35.

That is why I should have played 34-29 27-32 38×27 22×42 33×11 12-17 11×22 18×2729-24 42-47 14-10 with a draw.

After this draw JPD will most likely become our summer champion.
