 I have decided to terminate my job at Orange. It just didn’t feel right. Alexander from the temp agency made an enormous effort to convince me to stay, which put some more doubts in my head, but you can’t keep on changing your mind.

I called the people from the job at the ticket point to see if they still had a job for me. I had cancelled on them earlier last week in favour of the Orange job, which turned out, in hindsight to be a mistake. Luckily they were prepared to forgive my mistake, and I will go to the open day tomorrow and start the training next Monday. We’ll never know if quitting here was a mistake. Making decisions is difficult.

On a completely other note, Tuesday’s game against Huib. He made a horrible mistake in an 18 against 18 position. I gave 1 piece, and I gained two. He didn’t resign immediately, but of course, I managed to win. Also, I was very happy to see Jan at the club, he hadn’t come for a long time, due to illness, but it seems that his new medication will allow him to come once in a while.
