Today I have won 5 hours.

Last Monday at work it was discovered that I had worked too many hours. My contract says 16, but I did 17,5 for three weeks. I did notice this, but I didn’t mind I had some time left anyway. Minke, she makes the schedules, wasn’t pleased when she found out. She didn’t blame me, but she foresaw a huge amount of work to correct this and make sure that I would get paid enough.  So we agreed upon an administrative trick. For today I would appear on the list of who was going to work, and I also would get paid. But I didn’t have to come. Instead, the hours I had worked too many will not be paid. In this way everything is leveled out properly.

Of course, now I would not be working, I would have to do something useful. Not just sitting at home watching television or something. In this, I luckily succeeded. From 12 to 19 I’ve worked steadily at my thesis. Reading and making notes (topic: computer mediated communication), the computer wasn’t needed today. Sunday I will again be reading and making notes, but then on history/definition of online diaires/blogs/online journals. Next Monday I’ll hopefully have time to put everything on the computer. If not I’ll just do it on Tuesday.
