Today…

  • Is so ridiculously hot.
  • Got bit by a fucking cat, that should have never been in our holding take for exams anyhow. (It was obviously feral. We don’t keep any feral cats.) Then had to catch said fucking cat. Then euthanised fucking cat. Then had to fill out fucking incident reports and bite reports for work. Then had to go to immediate care to cover works ass. Then had to come back and cut fucking cats head off. I enjoyed the last part, though. That’ll teach fucking cat to bite me again. **Oh jeez, I didn’t cut it’s head off for revenge. LOL All biters with no rabies vaccination history have to be sent off for rabies testing. They use the brain when testing for rabies. Sending just a head is cheaper than the whole body. Hence, the removing of the head. Not for my pure satisfaction. Hah.
  • Did I mention it’s HOT?
  • Bulldog came in from an officers truck with heat exhaustion. Hauled big ass bulldog into the tub and started soaking him down with room temperature water to get his body temperature down. Poor dude was foaming at the nose and couldn’t breathe thru his mouth. He was boiling hot to the touch. I hosed him down for a good 20 minutes until he was stable enough to transfer to a nearby vet clinic, since our Vet had left for the day already. He’s doing well, and when I spoke with the Vet who was treating him, I was told I "saved him" with what I did. Yay. See… I don’t just kill animals on a daily basis. Or cut their heads off. I do good, too. It all balances out eventually.
  • I’m a bit on the bitter side today. It’s probably the heat…
  • Spoke to Josh a few times today. I’m a bit on the annoyed side with him at the moment. I was trying to tell him about my rather eventful day and he kept getting distracted by room mates and talking to them about stupid crap. He noticed I was annoyed, told me not to "get pissy" and then said he would call me later. Pft. I wasn’t getting pissy, I just shut up ’cause he wasn’t interested in what I was saying anyways. Your welcome for rushing home, finding your stupid OC certification and faxing it to your ass so you didn’t have to get sprayed with mace on steroids again. Hmph.
  • I’m hungry but no where near willing to eat because I’M TOO HOT.
  • I should end this, because who would want to read this vulgarity and bitterness anyhow? I know I wouldn’t.
