Finally

I think I said I crochet?… Well, today I finally finished a raglan sweater I’ve been working on for myself and I think I actually like it.  I work on things, tear them apart, work some more, finally finish and realize I don’t really like it.

It’s stupid how accomplished I feel because of how simple it was, but maybe that’s why I finally like something? Because it’s more simple? Idk

I just got a couch on FB marketplace for $75. It’s not pretty or ugly, it is boring. BUT it has reclining end seats which is what I really wanted. Anyway, I’ve lost my crochet hook in it three times and it’s the only one I have in that size. (To do the damn sweater) Last night I literally pushed it onto its side just to find the damn thing. I was so frustrated and angry.

When I gave up looking, put it back into place and sat down to cry I saw the fing thing sitting in the floor entwined with the sweater I was making. Wanted to cry more but ended up just being pissed at myself for looking so hard for something that was in my face the whole time Another reason I’m glad I finally finished the damn thing.

Bye for now

I just started knitting a few months ago and want to give crochet a try.

@ravdiablo I’ve never tried to knit. Crochet is better for more intricate things and knit looks more professional/store bought.  I think it really depends on what you want to make.
