The operation determined it wasn’t her intestines which were damaged. They ended up removing her gall bladder.
She came thru the operation ok, but the trauma of multiple operations in less than a week has a "fun" side effect. Her body has "forgotten" how to breathe on its own. She’s on a respirator in ICU.
