1702 Pray to the porcelain gods

This is a Big Day at the House of U.  

He’s had loosey goosey potty training up until now, but Mister Gus is moving forward in his potty training efforts.

He’s used his potty seat for a long time.  He knows "what to do", but some days he simply chose not to do it.  He was too busy playing and having fun to ditch the security of the diaper and actually rely on the potty full-time.

Today could be fraught with peril (and tinkle on the furniture), but so far, so good.

He’s wearing his Lightning McQueen undies for the first time.  He’s sitting on a towel enjoying a snack.  He’s got one eye on the timer (set for 30 minutes).  All systems are "GO!"

We’ve had our first 30 minute increment with MUCH SUCCESS!  There’s no tinkle on the couch and he was able to tinkle in the potty when the timer went off.

As with all things, this could go awry at any moment, so I will not get cocky about the morning’s success.
