1727 Killing Time

Oh my goodness, I just took a good look in the mirror at my soon to be highlighted/cut hair.  I’m mortified with my own image.  Clearly, I have not been fooling anyone, but myself that my hair looks ok.   (TBU, you’ve GOT to step in with a hair reminder intervention when things get this bad!)

We managed some quality park time with the church crowd.  I got to reprimand the most annoying child I know for throwing woodchips & then I totally tattled on him to his nanny, who in turn re-read him the riot act – which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Maybe more than I should’ve.  HA!

We’re killing time right now.  Mattson was exhausted and is down for a nap-a-roo.  Gusser is a tougher act to sell, however.  I know that when we get in the car, he’ll crash immediately. 

I totally fibbed to Gus about our upcoming roadtrip to Babysitter’s House.  He thinks he’s going over there for a playdate with one of Babysitter’s little sisters.  I am so evil.  I know darn well if I said, "we’re going over to Miss K’s house" that he’d tell me to Suck It.  I’m not in the mood.  Let him figure it out when he’s in a house full of children.  He’ll think he’s spending a few hours at the Happiest Place on Earth.  Who am I to burst his bubble?

Ok, so it’s just about time for us to hit the road.  I better get Mr. Sleepy and Mr. Potentially Grumpy ready for our drive.
