Wow. I have been to every emotion and back today. Things are still sinking in around here. Thank you to my fellow ODers for kind notes & well wished and especially to [Andi] for spending some time on the phone with me today.

I found a very interesting photo I’d like to share…

I realize that it’s a smallish photo, so let me explain what you are looking at.

This stroller is nothing but a frame. A frame designed from triplets, but usable in a scenario such as mine: 2 infant carriers and a toddler seat (crammed in the middle of the babies).

Seriously, I have been pondering the containment of Mr. Mattson once the babies arrive, so this find is a goldmine for me! I worry about this b/c I know that it will be more than a bit of a job controlling that delightful 2 year old boy all while needing to transport the twins. We currently use a double (long) Graco stroller for trips when I want to have both Gus & Mattson contained. We could certainly use this to transport the twins, but the thought of having to trust both Gus & Mattson to walk along side me, leaves me cold. Gus is good about it, but Mattson is just a loose cannon. No go.

Of course, you don’t even want to guess how much a triple decker stroller costs. And the fact that the toddler seat is sold separately. Oh yeah…and only certain infant seats fit in the base & so might require the purchase of 2 new infant carriers.

Ok, my laptop is about out of juice, so I better wrap this up.

That looks like a monster to steer!

At least you’re looking at a vertical model rather than horizontal! You’ll be able to get it through the door. 🙂

I enjoyed our conversation today, and have written an entry in your honor. 🙂 You need a double Sit and Stand. Gus is kind of on his own (unless you hook up a Strolli to it… what a sight you would be!!) but its better than that thing! LOL

OK, no… The Double Sit N Stand is not what I was thinking of. My MOM (That’s “Mothers of Multiples” to you and me) club was JUST discussing this on the message boards. I will cut and paste the convo for you… leave me a note with your e-mail.

I have another toddler car seat if you are interested that I think would work for M. By the time the twins come too, we should have one of the Britax bigger kid seats open. Still have tons of baby stuff, let me know what you need!

It is certainly a challenge!! I know you will be able to do this. God never gives us more than we can handle. Don’t ya just love Andi!?!?!

Congratulations on the news of twins! What an exciting time in your lives!! Nevermind a stroller, what kind of vehicle do you drive?? I can’t fathom getting four kids under age 5 in one vehicle!!

I’ve seen that stroller before in the House of Mouse. They make it with 4 seats too. The one I saw was blue and grey and there were four seats. guuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrlllll… You will be a very muscular momma pushing those kids around.
