 I’m not sure when it happened exactly, but my OD dropped my Plus for Freebie status. I need to take care of that. 

I tried to write an entry last week, but my laptop froze & I lost what I’d written. You’d think after writing at OD for just shy of 10 years, I’d know better than to actually write my entries directly into OD. *sigh*
 
Last Sunday my poor little Mattson came down with a nasty flu-bug. Days of throwing up followed by days of “poopular issues”. Good Times. 
 
We’d thought that Gus might’ve somehow avoided the bullet on this one, but oh no. In the middle of Friday night he repeated the same routine. Poor little guy. This is about the sickest I’ve ever seen him. I was really worried for him.
 
Once again, I Thank God my mother-in-law was in town! She was such a champ…she volunteered for midnight Barf Duty. She sat with him at the potty all day Friday. She was a total lifesaver! I felt like a wretched mother, but she really saved me! I really don’t think I physically could’ve handled the midnight work involved in caring for my sick child. That’s really hard for this mom to admit.
 

Ah yes, there is other news I came here to write…the entry I lost last week. I finally got my c-section booked! Very long story short…I worked my melodramatic mojo and managed to secure a February date! (Which in light of our current insurance woes, was wonderful news!) 
 
Go ahead, look at your calendar. If today is February 22nd, and we having the babies before the end of the month, go ahead and guess when these babies will be arriving! 
 
That’s right people, THIS WEEK!!!!!
 
More accurately…
THIS THURSDAY at 8:15am!
  
As soon as I had the actual surgery scheduled, I started flipping out just a little bit. I/We still have so much to do to get the house completely ready. TBU seems fine, but my mind is a big blur of tasks and to-do lists!
 
And that pregnancy ticker up there…it is blissfully wrong!  I can’t seem to figure out how to change it, but that’s ok.  I am joyfully scheduled to have these babies 20 days ahead of schedule!  I will be 37 weeks and 1 day.  An amazing feat for any mother pregnant with twins!
 
I promise there will be belly pictures taken/posted at some point. 
 

5 Things That Make Me Happy:

1. Two sick little boys who are on the mend.
2. A mother-in-law who let me skip out on barf duty for a week.
3. A baby shower thrown by TBU’s co-workers!
4. Getting my February c-section…just as I’d hoped for!
