"That Girl"

TG’s mom passed away last night – about 8:45 pm. They had removed all life supporting devices on Friday evening at 8:00 and hadn’t expected she would live through the night, but like the fighter she was all her life, she hung on for 48 more hours. She went peacefully in her sleep and we have great confidence that she went without pain or suffering.

Our thanks to all of you for your continual prayers during this time. Our new prayer will be for extra knowledge of the sustaining grace of God in our lives.

I’m so sorry, TG. I was actually thinking about you last night when there were commercials for a That Girl marathon on TVLand. I left this note on TBU’s diary, too: I am so so sorry. I know we don’t know each other in person, but if you need anything — babysitting, a casserole, whatever — please let me know. I’m so close by it would be no trouble to help. You’re all in mythoughts.
