May Metaphor Month 2020

I’m doing this challenge, that a friend of mine and I came up with a decade ago, where they would create and send me randomly and made up metaphors for each day of the month of May, that’s 31 for those keeping score at home.  It’s mostly just a writing challenge.   I’ll have the list in advance, in this case:

These don’t have to make sense, as I mentioned above, it’s just a writing exercise, where I will try to come up with something (anything)  to write about using the given metaphor as a jumping-off point.  Some things may line up well, others may not, but either way, it should be fun.

If you wanna play too, the more the merrier, feel free to use the list above (it would be cool to see how differently people take the prompts) or come up with your own.  There are no rules, and I’m not your dad.
