Project for Completion

It’s not just the state of the event that brings fulfillment, slots a missing puzzle piece in the chest, and gives a sense of pride.  I find it to be in the creation of the process, the task itself, leading to an adventure, a race against a clock or the self from the past, to do what previously had not been done and learn something along the way, about the world, the mind, about myself.   Thank you, for completing me.  Again and again, you raise in me the energy to turn my sunflower face toward the sun and soak the day with my orange petals and black center.   A wreath around my heart striking the eye against an otherwise dull landscape of thought.  Tall as a weed and half as hearty.  Still, part of the journey is the end.  I am glad for the round of quick-fire inspiration and the challenge of completing a host of them in rounds daily.  I feel as though I am a bit sharper for the doing.  I pull myself around myself like a blanket of warm skin, hot with the blood of my life, gentle in its journey.   I know everything is going to be fine, and I will continue to rise to challenges in the future, as we go forward and prove ourselves again.   As always, thank you for making me better,
