Full Throttle.

I aced my three-week online cultural anthropology course. Easiest A I’ve ever gotten. I just read the material on time, which was about a chapter every second day, and did the assigned work, which was clearly paced in the syllabus.

Speaking of three-weeks, this is my third week of getting to the gym five days in a row. Well, tomorrow will make it the fifth day of this week, but you know what I mean. I lift monday/wednesday/friday, and do HIIT followed by steady state tuesday/thursday. I’ve felt pretty good so far, except for today. I woke up today feeling like a train hit me. Still went to the gym anyway. My lifts are going up, and the scale is slowly going down. All else fails, I know some intense metabolic routines (Fat Loss series from New Rules of Lifting) that I’ve used in the past, but I’d rather focus on getting my lifts up. That is, save crack of fat loss for the end of the summer. After all, stronger I am, the more weight I can use during it.

As far as the phone thing goes, I was this close to getting a Blackberry Q10. Then I realized that I REALLY do not need the latest and greatest. I really wanted a phone that can text and has a cool form-factor. So I went with the Blackberry Torch 9810. I’m staying with T-Mobile to save money. Because all things considered, the only time I’ve not had service was in mexico. I think that’s forgivable.

I’m waiting for the girl to get home so we can make tuna salad. I think I’ll go take a nap like an old man. Just gotta grab a cat first…
