Good Morning, Sunday!
I thought I’d GOTO bed early last night. I wasn’t anticipating actually BEING drowsy so early. I scratched the idea of taking melatonin, and just went to bed at 10 PM. I decided that even if I didn’t fall asleep fast, I’d at least get to relax in bed without worry of how quickly I fall asleep. (I did fall asleep fast.) Woke up once or twice during the night, but otherwise very solid sleep. Woke up around 7 AM, and decided, “I’ve been getting up early for the past couple days. I’m lounging.” I made sure (as much as possible) to try and lay on my back without any pillows, as it is better for the neck.
I could feel the morning sunlight gently shining down on me. Mmm. So nice not to have to get up. I got up when I felt like it, sometime after 8 AM.
Have I mentioned how much underwear I have? So much so that I keep all of it separate from the rest of my laundry. (I do the same thing with socks.) This way I can wash my undies (and socks) by need, whenever I run low, rather than having to sort through my primary hamper. I know I talk a lot about how much I love being naked (I do sleep naked), but I really love wearing underwear. It makes me feel sexy.
I’ve been gassy the past couple of days. Probably just have to add some things from my diet and stop relying on only a few things.
I hit the gym Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Time for some backlogging.

DB Shoulder Press: 3×15 @ 20 lbs
Wide-grip Lat Pull: 15, 15, 11 @ 90 lbs

This workout was rather weak. First pairing, I lost some reps. Added two reps to bench, and matched my row performance. Finished my shoulder press for full set/rep, but I’m not confident enough to increase the weight right now. Lost a rep on lat pull.

Felt confident on this day. Hrm. I only seem to annotate warm-ups for my lower-body stuff. I always do warm-ups for my first set of upper body stuff, I just never seem to write it down. Whatever. Those pause-squats were awesome. It felt like it was easy initially coming out of the hole, but then I’d slow down halfway up. Glute-dominance, anyone?

Was doing singles with my previous 1RM. Guess I’m not surprised I didn’t make it five sets. Though, I should say, the missed attempt I had was about half a rep. I just couldn’t clear my sticking point. If my routine wasn’t so full, I’d work on it. Hrm. Well… Well, we’ll see in a few weeks. I like this routine so far, I see no harm in tweaking it slightly in two weeks and running it into the ground.
Added a rep to every set of my bench. THAT is progress.
Lost reps on the last pairing. Not entirely worried, could just be my on/off lifting. Once I shift my B workout to earlier in the week, things should settle out.
Anyway. My ass was saved, but I still have to do that speech. I’m rested now, I hope I’m rested tonight. Why not start it now? Hrm. I seem to hate doing things knowing I’ll have to stop midway. I’m strange like that. Because once I start things, then they’re on my mind, and I hate having things on my mind. Though, that usually backfires, because I’ll be worried about STARTING. Maybe someday I’ll get over that.
I love my balls. Though, technically, it’s the scrotum I love. Sure, testicles fill out the area, but it’s the skin in the surrounding area that’s nice to caress. I recall an old friend who did not like having his balls touched. “They’re there, they do their job.” Hell, girls seem to have better luck pleasuring my balls than they ever have had pleasuring my penis. Go figure.
It’s April, right? I better start preparing for DateATimmy. I typically keep a queue of questions through the year. Redoing my okcupid profile and questions has helped with focusing ideas down to just a few. Ha ha. “Do you masturbate?” is a key question for me on okcupid.
You also live in NJ. Why does everyone live in NJ? I needed to go to the gym today. You have reminded me of this. I fail.

RYN: I don’t like living in NJ. But I’ve only been here a year. Maybe it gets better. So far, it is boring, and expensive.
