Less of a Timmy?

For years I’ve sort of ignored scales, out of the logic that I wouldn’t want to be ‘obsessed’ with it. As such, I decided to get over that and weigh myself after working out. Just a consistent way to assess my weight and flucuations.

I have my first weight annotated on 10-6, as 131 pounds. By 10-18, I rose to 132. Two days ago, 10-20, I noticed I was at 131.6. And today, I’m an even 130. Blame my cold and perhaps my lack of eating yesterday. *smirks* See, now I know to up my calorie intake. I hardly need to gorge, but I should maintain my glucose ratio in my system. I could tell by the end of my workout that I needed glucose. I did eat breakfast, I swear, but it was wearing off fast.

I may have hit the diner at 5 PM, but I’ll probably eat leftover food around 9 PM. I’m a hungry boy man!

Just for clarification, I’m hardly interested in gaining weight. Or losing weight. If I go one way or the other, I’d prefer to do it at a steady pace, not dropping a pound in two days.

I’m going to have killer abs by the time I’m done. Mark my words. *watches you mark them* NO MORE CRAMPS DURING SEX! Erm. Whenever it is I have sex again during my lifetime.

Er, um, when you’re by yourself you don’t really need killer abs for sex… You just have to watch out for hangnails. At least that’s what I’ve been told.

Damn, Timmy, you must be a skinny S.O.B. You only weigh about ten pounds more than me! 😛

First of all, you weigh like 30 pounds less than me, sheesh, but whatever. Anyway, it’s normal for your weight to fluctuate from day to day. I think that’s why they tell people who are trying to lose weight not to weigh themselves everyday. Or I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that somewhere. I’m usually anywhere within a five pound range whenever I check. I usually only check when I’m bored. *shrugs*

Skinny lil’ Timmy … but with super abs!

Yes! Killer abs.

i’d be very tempted to attribute that type of weight “gain” / “loss” to water weight / normal weight fluctuations. in a typical day your weight varies way more than just a pound or two. that said, were it a continuous trend, it should definitely be examined. and if you’re feeling the need to eat more, that’s another thing entirely. but you may well have not lost any weight at all.
