These are the boring workouts that make a difference in the long-term, I tell myself. I think I need to back-off a little next week, then come back harder the following week.

Took some melatonin so I would fall asleep last night. I feel better, but… Meh. It’s the 50K impasse. Do I follow through with threads I’ve already created, or do I create a brand-new arch to “fill time” until the endgame sequence? I could utilize my secondary characters. I don’t know. I feel my characters looking up at me and sort of shrugging like Sims that have free will turned off. In a way, I feel handcuffed because of the serious tone I’ve maintained so far. Perhaps I need to let go of that a little.
