Well so far today has been a total waste. Ok, not a total waste, I did unload some wood for the bed project from the back of the truck.

Watching Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl right now, I forgot how good it was. I really think they should have stopped with the first three, the story was done, let it go. That is not the Disney Way nowadays though: they have to milk every single last dollar out of every vaguely successful franchise or they aren’t happy. Quantity over quality so to speak.

I got a notification from Handshake on my school email account about a job posting: the US Navy is looking for cybersecurity specialists to hire as officers straight out of college. Unfortunately I think I’m a little too old for that (I’m in my fifties), but I did get a brief image of myself and a few other newly minted Ensigns sitting in a bar after a good day at work chanting “lower decks! Lower decks!” and I laughed way too hard and way too long.

POTC is almost over, I’ve got to get started on swapping the bed frames and then wrap up this week’s class assignments.
