JuPhoMo Day 6, Carded
We got home from Phoenix this afternoon around 1:30. We had a good time up there. We weren’t able to actually go to the Diamondbacks Game yesterday because, well…it was the 4th of July weekend so the Game was basically Sold Out and we weren’t able to actually get the tickets. We just had a voucher, you see. So…yeah that was kind of a disappointment, but we ended up going to Alice Cooperstown and having some dinner.
Randy had the Big Unit which is the Ginormous Hot Dog that they have there. it was actually pretty good. and I had this huge meat sandwich. I had texted my brother to see what they were doing since we weren’t going to the game and to see if they wanted to meet up. But he was being typical my brother. What really bothers me about THAT whole situation is that We went out with them for Sharla’s birthday….and we went out with them for my brother’s birthday…so how they couldn’t be bothered to come out for Randy’s birthday? Yeah, it was just blah so whatever. We had our dinner and then went back to the house.
Wednesday night when we got there, I actually had a little bit too much to drink lol. It would have been fine but, I just can’t do it like that anymore with my medication. So I got really sick. Blah. Randy has never seen me sloshed like that before because I’ve never drank like that before around him. haha. so yeah he had to basically put me to bed and then I needed a bucket all night and pretty much just couldn’t keep water down for a lot of the day.
I needed a nap in the afternoon because my head was KILLING me and then I finally got up and ate by the time everyone was getting ready to get in the pool. So I ate and then got ready and got in the pool. So it was good. It was a good day that day. Was just chill and relaxed. not bad. only a few people were there because D had her daughter and the other D’s daughter was there, but she’s a little older, and usually it’s ok when people are there if it’s just her that is there, but, little D’s daughter is younger and she doesn’t want people being around her especially because of the nature of where we know each other from, if that makes sense.
so it was just the really close group like 5 or 6 people and we ate and swam and hung out. Went to bed pretty early actually. was nice. did our thing on Friday. Then Today we got up and I gave Randy his present LOL. Gave him his card which he was surprised I had smuggled it up there because that sucker is huge. it’s like 14"x9" or something haha, it’s big. but anyway. so I hid it in a secret compartment in the suitcase. Friday before we went to Chase Field to try to get our tickets we went to this ginormous Electronics store called Fry’s and we also Lunched at Long John Silvers because they don’t have those down here. that was delicious.
Uhmmm yeah. So…hmmm. This evening we went out to his Parents house for dinner they made Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and Red Velvet Cupcakes for him. haha. nice. that was delish. Watched the Coke Zero 400 race….then came home. Was storming around so we might get some rain this evening. hmm. yuppers. Anyway, so that’s about it I suppose. I dunno what’s going on with me. I dunno if I’m catching a cold or if it’s just allergies, but my nose is running but I’m stuffy at the same time, and my ears are itchy and I have a cough and my throat is scratchy. ugh, it’s annoying. but i’m medicating so I hope I can kick it before it gets bad. bluh.
