Nice Weekend

It’s a nice weekend with temperatures finally cracking 70. Yesterday I but on some Bob Seger, cracked open a cold Sam Adams and sat out on the deck in my new Adirondack chair from Costco. Last year I couldn’t find any of the composite ones for under $200. This year I see them for $99 so I grabbed a pair. It took me 2 beers to get them assembled
I got out on the golf course for the first time this week. Boy, was I stiff but it felt good to get out. I really struggled with the par 5 holes but the rest of the round was respectable for early season. My brother, Jerry, joined the club in Enosburg Falls so I would like to meet up with him more often this year. Last year I think we golfed together once or twice.
I completed an application to refinance the house. I was very pleased to get an interest rate of 2.75% for a 15 year loan. This is the lowest rate I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m currently at 4.5% which I thought was very good at the time. Now I’ll go to a 15 year loan from a 30 year for only a few hundred dollars more a month.
Today I need to fix a couple pieces of the vinyl soffit on the house where the wind blew them off this winter in preparation for my home appraisal. I will also mow the lawn and do misc. other things outside. It’s going to be beautiful out today.
I’ve been playing the guitar more this winter. I found a site called Totally Guitars that offers many free video lessons. Of course, Youtube does this also and that is how I found this site, but I like the selection and the way Neil Hogan teaches. Maybe I’ll spring for some of the paid lessons sometime.
Diane has been doing quite a bit better lately. The longer days and more sunshine have an effect on us all. She has also been prescribed Alprolazam three times a day in small doses and this greatly reduces her anxiety.  I’m hoping for a good summer

Well, off to my day

I was really happy to hear she was feeling less anxious…

This sounds like the “good life”. Nice to know that things are working out well in your new house. The 15 year mortgage is a sweet deal.
