Update on my dad

I’m so glad to hear he’s doing ok. Gosh, your dad’s sick and you’ve got time to leave me a note about my stupid shirt! (ps – you’ve got yourself a bet ;))

Just live well and happy. If we were to spend time worrying about how our parents’ lives went (or didn’t go, for that matter…) how would we ever get to enjoy our own?!?! I have cancer in my family and I live IN SPITE OF IT!!! I eat well, stay as stress-free as possible and surround myself with those who make me feel most alive. That’s the best preventative medicine I can imagine.

But I do hope he has a speedy recovery. And that all is well sometime soon. I’m also so glad to read about how well everything else is going for you…Isn’t it amazing that for as young as we are, you’re even younger than I, we’re happier than most have ever been or will ever be?! This whole ‘life’ thing is turning out to be pretty alright.

Johmieez!! I’m soooooo sorry to hear about your dad. I know how you feel…my dad was 45 when his happend. 🙁 Atleast your dad is still alive!

That is scary. All you can do is make a genuine effort to take care of your own body and health.

I hope your dad is doing better. Don’t worry.. it sucks when it happens to someone close to you – but its actually more common and the procedures that are done for them are much more advanced now. My uncle had a heart attack a lil bit ago then a stroke during his quadruple bipass surgery – doin great now. 🙂 So, much love to you and your dad and look up 🙂
