Father’s day…
When I was little I used to take my Dad out to breakfast at McDonalds for Father’s day (dad’s eat free, do they still do that?) This year, we took him to Firehouse where…we “paid” for him. (he was free!)
LOL!
I didn’t do much today. Daniel went to the gym and took Eliana. I have been having major shin splint issues. OMG it hurt yesterday at Busch Gardens. I figured I need to take it easy, so I took today off. My shins were even bothering me the other day when I went swimming.
So far I have lost 0 lbs. Makes all that super hard work worth it!
*sigh*
Don’t get me started because it will just make me cry.
After lunch we went to Publix, and then we came home. I am telling you, the excitement is just overwhelming isn’t it!!!???!
Daniel mowed the lawn because it was getting to be knee high.
See, I bet you can hardly stand this entry because of all of this excitement!
I didn’t warn you, now I feel bad. Warning, this entry is beyond exciting, there, I did my duty!
Now he is going to make some popcorn on the stove and we are going to eat it while watching Hell’s Kitchen!
A-Maze-Ing!

Somehow I cannot see McDonalds giving anything away for free these days, well except maybe coffee. But you never know .. they may still do that. My dad’s are at home in Vancouver and in Europe. But I will not be calling them .. it is all in my last diary entry. I am kinda sad at the whole situation. Hope you have a good remainder to your weekend. Take care.

That’s so sweet about taking your dad out! I’ve never heard of it being free at McD’s today, so I guess they don’t do that any more. (Or maybe they just don’t like to advertise it, because it’s news to me.) You know, I really like Gordon Ramsay on that Kitchen Reno show, and yet Hells Kitchen commercials always make me cringe. I should watch an episode one of these days!

Did you gain back the weight from being gluten free? Are you still going gluten free? Didn’t your Chinese dr say she could help you with the weight issues?

RYN: My sister called them and wished my dad a “Happy Fathers Day” on my behalf. My sister has defended me, as she knows I haven’t asked them for money, and that I have no desire to ask them for any money. I cannot do anything to change my mothers opinion, so my sister just told me not to talk about money when I call them. Guess I will just hope to win the lottery . . *giggles*. I am not as close

to my parents in Vancouver as what my sister is. But I am fine with that. I will allow my sister to gauge what the situation is and determine if it is ok for me to again call them. I will not lose any sleep over it, as I cannot do anything to change the situation. Hope you are having a good weekend. Take care.

RYN: The thing that is scary is that I actually touched one of those things. It was at West Ed Mall and I had no idea what it was. They were in big water filled tanks and I pulled it out of the water. It started to leak water everywhere. I ditched it then .. it was too freaky. I cannot imagine eating something like that. But apparently in Asia countries it is a delicacy. I saw them on tv and being

the curious person I am, I just had to figure out what they were. Even more weird is that people eat them, or at least parts of them. I don’t do sushi so I probably have never eaten anything from that thing. That is just fine with me. They are just too gross looking for me to want to eat anything from that. Hope you had eaten supper before you saw my diary. Have a nice night. Take care.

What are the shin splints from? I used to get them terribly bad when I played tennis. Ugh. Hope they heal up quickly for you!
