Going to be a long day…e

My poor little sweetie woke up with a fever.

And of course Daniel is leaving today. I can’t have my dad around her because of his compromised immune system. So that means me being stuck here with a sick kid for at least 48 hours.

She took a nap on my lap this morning. She hasn’t done that in ages. Now she is lying down on the couch. Poor little thing. It’s just a low grade fever. I think she will be fine. Maybe she will be all better tomorrow morning, that would be good!

Daniel told me not to be jealous of his trip, but really, taking care of a sick kid vs driving a very easy drive, staying in a hotel where you won’t get woken up in the middle of a night by a kid, and then a very easy work day with more driving sounds REALLY good right now.

Oh no, it is now worse. Poor little thing just threw up for the first time in her life. Daniel bought her some car soup and was offering it to her at the dining room table. I was outside looking at his rental car.

He can’t leave yet anyway because he is still waiting for another set of rental equipment. He said he will put off leaving as long as he can. This is really bad timing.

Daniel said, maybe she just had to get it out of her system.

Oh goodness…

*hugs* sorry you couldn’t go with him. Sounds like she’d nap all day in the car, anyway. I hope it stays just a sleepy fever and doesn’t get any worse.

hopefully it’s just a 24-hour bug. I can’t believe she’s never thrown up before! Wow!

Well if she has never threw up in her life .. I would consider yourself lucky. Usually when I do something like that, I feel better afterwards. So maybe she will be ok in a few hours. Take care.

I don’t need to now I have this job! The main reason I didn’t want to do that was because of the cost of relocating. Also, for permanent residency I need to stay in Quebec.

awwww, poor you and E…. Claire has thrown up twice, both times on my mother’s watch.

RYN: it has been a crazy day. I missed most of the rain, cause I was trying to have a nap. (didn’t work out so well). Re the gym .. I am having some concerns, as the gym has not the best reputation when it comes to ripping off their customers. The only thing . . is that they pretty much have a monopoly on the fitness scene in Alberta. I was a member there for about 5 years before I was married.

I almost want to put a whole year on my credit card, just to protect myself from their evilness. I really don’t want to sign a contract with them, but it is pretty much a certainty. I want to do a month to month thing, but I know that they don’t go for things like that. And if you try to cancel the contract .. you are totally screwed cause they are worse than cell phone companies. It is just a

stressful situation. And all I want to do is go to the gym. Imagine that. The only good thing is that I think I know the manager from years ago. (she wasn’t the manager back then but appears to be now) But somehow I think that she would be like an IBM manager, they HAVE TO tow the company line and their policies. So I am just scared to go in there.
