I really have to get better about updating here.

I had a job interview on Wednesday.  I thought it went well, then I got the thanks but no thanks email on Thursday.  I’m not too bothered about it.  I could have been working anywhere between Middlesbrough and Durham depending on the rota and some places are a nightmare to get to by public transport.

I’ve since applied for an admin job at a record pressing plant, which is a job I really want.

Health wise, I’m OK.  Kind of.  As well as the stomach issue, the hypertension, the borderline pre diabetes, I also have borderline high bad fats.  Still, I’m walking more now.  Was planning to go for a long walk today, but it’s been pissing down rain all day so I didn’t bother.

I upgraded my phone.  I got an Pixel 9 Pro.  My new contract gives me unlimited data, which came in handy.  I also changed broadband provider and was stuck without internet for about 4 days.  It’s up and running now.  My internet is a lot faster, though it was a kerfuffle getting everything connected.

My parents were through on Monday.  They were down because it was my nieces birthday on Tuesday.  It was less infuriating than usual, but they weren’t here all that long.
