Pain

I’m so crazy about Holly. We’ve only been together for two months but for me that is a record and so therefore a long time. I now face a problem though. her dad has told her that when she turns 18 which is in July, she is on her own. The only place she can go is Texas, or maybe Louisiana, but she refuses to go there. Either way she’s leaving the state, and I’m staying here because UK is where I’ve always planned on going. I love her, but I’m not going to make her feel forced to do anything she doesn’t want to do, but now she tells me she wants to stay here with me and live on the streets if she has to just so we’ll be together, I can’t allow that to happen, I am begging her to just go to Texas and get her college education like she’s always planned to, and to not let me get in the way. Her future is way more important. We could still work on a long distance relationship, they never really work, but we could definitly try, right? I don’t want her to throw away everything for me, I can’t have that, I don’t need that on my conscience, that I ruined her life and her future success, no, if she decides to truly stay here and live on her own with no help from relatives or anything, I’m going to have to do something drastic, something that’ll hurt, not that I want to because I don’t, but it’s what’s best for her is all I care about.
Please tell me someone out there understands what I’m going through, and if I’m right or wrong about how to handle it….
