Sunday, 20/1/13.
Didn’t write yesterday. I worked 11 – 8pm (bought a new pair of heeled brown boots on my break for £9 down from £22, oooh yeah) and then came home and watched The Dark Knight. Thorpe went to Dave’s for poker night and got insanely drunk and didn’t get in until 4am, ugh. Wasn’t a happy bunny.
Today we’re having lamb and all the trimmings, so that needs to go in the slow cooker soon. I don’t have any other plans other than watching Dancing on Ice later and possibly The Dark Knight Rises depending on how tired I am. It’s a long damn film!
I’m on holiday now until Friday when I’m doing the midnight shift, uggggh. No plans other than to go to Citizen’s Advice on Tuesday with Mel but we’re due more snow today and overnight so hopefully the roads and whatnot won’t be too bad.
Lamb and all the trimmings! Yum. When I was about your age I also lived in England; in London. I was newlywed and your entry took me back to those times. But I didn’t watch Dark Knight. There was only BBC and ITV (in black and white). However I saw the live broadcast of Neil Armstrong stepping onto the moon. Jonathan
