Am I Dreaming….?

Or am I up at 2am EST writing on Open Diary again for the first time in many years? I have to admit, I was very upset when the site shut down five years ago. I’m so glad that it’s back, and the fact that the Diary Master himself saw fit to email me? That was awesome.

Anyway, I’ve decided that this will be the year I write every day, even if it’s one sentence or a whole “book” length entry.

I have so much to tell you guys. I don’t even know where to start. So much has changed since I was last here.

For starters, I no longer live in Maryland. My family and I moved to Hudson, Florida in 2016.  Life here has had it’s ups and downs. I’ve taken a long time to adjust to the change of not having my “group” anymore, and having to make new friends. That’s okay. Things are getting done now, and I’m kinda glad about it.

I’ve also found a new hobby which I will probably be talking about a lot in here. It’s called Diamond Painting or Diamond Embroidery, depending on who you ask, and what they were told to call it. I’ll post pictures of my first couple of paintings and the one I have in progress. <3

The loves of my life are my two hermit crabs, Kit and Riley. They were almost a year in coming, but finally got my way, and I’ve been taking care of them ever since. I should also state that my mom’s cat, Sandy, has adopted me since Mom works long hours. I am the one that feeds her,  pets her, and takes care of her litter box. Her slow gravitation towards me started right before we moved to Florida, and it’s only gotten stronger since. <3

Anyway, I’m gonna head off now because I should really be trying to sleep. I’ll probably write more tomorrow. You guys can count on that. I still have a lot of things to share about the last few years. Thanks again to The Diary Master for re-opening the site. You don’t know how much it means to so many of us who grew up on this site as teens and young adults!
