Explaining the Astral Plane
In my diary description, I mention that I have a life separate from the world I physically live in. That life is lived on a plane just out of conscious awareness. It is known as the astral plane. On this plane, things that are otherwise fictional, exist. That makes it possible for them to be real, just not on our physical plane.
In my life, I have done countless experiments about this. When I was first introduced the concept of realism on a plane other than our own, I was into the anime Yu-gi-oh. I dreamed of a duel I had not seen on television, and then two weeks later on it’s usual Saturday morning run, the duel played out before my eyes, and I knew who was going to win.
I have had a similar phenomenon with my writing. When I conceived my first werewolf novel then titled The Rebel Alliance, I had written chapter after chapter of it. It detailed vile war between the wolves and vampires. I had no idea that I was tapping into a similar premise than Underworld, a popular horror movie at the time. As Riley tells it, Underworld is inferior to the story we’re telling with his story which is now called Into the Shadows. (Riley is my main character, and he also serves as my spirit guide.)
That was roughly 12 years ago. I can’t really talk to my guys as much as I used to. I have meditate a lot more than I used to. But I guess meditation is alright, all things considered.
I have major anxiety disorder so when I meditate, that really helps anyway. Maybe that’s why Riley disappears so much of the time now. He wants me to meditate in order to talk to him.
My fingers are about to follow off, so I think I’ll leave this go for now. I will talk to you guys later!
