New Laptop is a Winner

“You won’t like it.” She said.  “You’re doing wrong.” She said. Well, guess what, Mom? I actually really like this little laptop that I got from Fingerhut, and I am probably going to keep it. Kept the packing/return slip, just in case. But I think I’m set. Mom can have her laptop back, and I can work when and where I want to from now on. It’s a win-win situation. Plus, tthis o be quite honest, I really never liked having to be responsible for her laptop anyway. I’m usually pretty careful about things, but accidents do happen, and I just would feel awful. If it was my own laptop, yes, I’d be upset, but I wouldn’t have to feel extra guilty because it wasn’t mine.

Tomorrow is Pay Day for me with Social Security, so that means ordering A Wrinkle in Time from the Disney Movie Club, pre-ordering Joelle Charbonneau’s new book, Eden Conquered,  and possible ordering 1 of the 3 missing Harry Potter books. But I may wait on that because it is also giftcard ordering time for me, too. Giftcards from Swagbucks, giftcard from Mistplay… and not to mention, Pay Day from Rev! Whoot!

Library day was good, but long. I really need to buy food for Thursdays when I’m gonna be there longer than 2 hours. And next week is one such day. I have Coloring, Volunteering, and then Scrapbooking. Excited to do all of these things! 😀

I also have plans this  weekend for a movie with one of my favorites, Jess. I hope we go see Book Club, not really not sure what she’ll be up for. Dinner and a movie sounds like so much fun for us. 🙂 We’d also talked about seeing Life of the Party, but I’m going to lobby for Book Club since it has all these A-List actors and actresses in it that I love. I didn’t realize, for instance, that Wallace Shawn was going to be in it. and I’ve loved Wallace Shawn since The Princess Bride. He has such a distinct voice!

Okay,time to go check o nthe chicken and rice i’m making. Starving. As I said, haven’t been eating well on Thursdays, and I really need that to stop.
