Trigger Warnings, Lj-Cuts, and Other things…

Sigh. So I had to take Insane Journal off of my  cross-posting list because I have this one one friend who doesn’t really want to read long winded entries. Seriously? But we shouldn’t have to censor ourselves. The entry in question this time was one that had mentioned the passing of my friend to an overdose. I did go back and add a trigger and a cut to that one on Insane Journal, but I had already removed the journal from cross posting on Dreamwidth. I just didn’t feel like dealing with this particular issue anymore. It’s so annoying.

Today is Memorial Day, and I’m reminded of how many people have died in various efforts to ensure that we keep our Freedom here in the United States. I am so thankful for those individuals who I will never know. Yet, I am also the proud sister of an Air Force Reserves member.  And my sperm donor, for the better part of my life, was also in the army. I respect that, even if I don’t respect him.  I also had grandparents in various parts of the military. (I always get the mixed up, so I can’t specify.)

I’m gonna probably be down for the day because I have been suffering with a migraine. There is no work to be seen on Rev anyway, so I’m not really losing a day of work, either.  I’ll write more later if my headache permits.
