Happy New Year

A week late.

Still just not feeling the pull here.  Hrm, maybe I need a makeover here too?  But no.  I can’t get rid of my darling little blinky girl in the corner.  I still love her.  Evne if she creeps some of you out.  Hee hee.  Wait, maybe that’s precisely the reason I adore her?  Nah…she’s just cute, look at her.

Not spending a lot of time on the internet outside of work now that Brian’s home any way.

Let’s see, resolutions for this year as follows:

  1. Get back on the weight loss merry-go-round by choosing healthier options and moving more.
  2. Practice being more patient.  This one is a losing battle folks.  But I can continue to try, right?
  3. Finally paint the ‘Barbie Pink Palace’ – maybe for my birthday.
  4. Make more of an effort in my appearance — got hair chopped off last Friday — bought a new ionic blowdryer with the correct attachments, as well as a newer ceramic curling iron — been doing well with that so far.
  5. Continue to find reasons to fall in love with Brian when I feel like I’m pulling away and things are getting stale.

That is all for resolutions.  Nope, still not concerned with even trying to quit smoking.  Don’t need the arguments of why I should, I know why I should.  I just don’t feel like even trying.  I’ll call myself on it thanks.  "You, Tamara, are lazy and stupid for not even attempting to quit smoking."  "Yes, yes, self, I know…"

Christmas was nice.  Very lowkey.  I did have my internet friend, Matt, come over and well, that was okay…but he was, odd, yeah odd.  Odd, but nice.

Playing Secret Santa to that girl Tammy and her son Dominique was even odder.  I mean, I don’t do it for any big thanks or anything, but she was so monotone and, I gotta call it what it is, ungrateful!  Yes, ungrateful is what I’d call Miss Tammy.  I drove 1.5 hours (and got majorly lost in Dorchester of all the rotten places) and delivered $200.00 worth of stuff to her doorstep for her son and she never smiled and never said thank you.  Bah!  I know I shouldn’t be even thinking about that, I do it for myself and for the kids, but damn woman.  Jeezus!

Brian is still out of work and going to physical therapy.  Last visit we were told he’s not to even think about going back to work until after February.  Needless to say my working man is very antsy at home and slowly driving himself (and me) batty.  But the knee seems to be doing better.  He’s got 25% ROM in it compared with 10% he had when we started.  So he carries onwards there.

Life continues to move on.  Hope all of you had lovely holidays and hope each and every one of my friends here (you are all still friends, right?) have a fruitful, healthy and happy 2007!

Happy New Year to you miss thing!

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! We’re starting off our lists the same way. Healthy….ew. Why does it have to be so hard?! :::whine:::

Happy New Years to you too! New haircuts are nice, i just got one myself. Oh, found the best shampoo EVER! (I have bad dry hair). Joico. Awesome. Thought I would let you know, lol.

Good luck on your plans for the year. I’m sure you can find the resolve to keep up with them. 🙂

She only scared me the first time I saw her blink. After that, I came to love her dearly. Don’t change her.
