Song Title from Sanjaya Parody Revealed
Ahh, you so smaht! There were some really good wrong guesses (Fernando by Abba was a great one, Sarah by Jefferson Starship (I think) was another one and Mandy by Barry Manilow was also a good one), and 2 correct guesses.
The parody was of the song Amanda by Boston. Hee hee!!! And yes, it was something I did. I used to parody songs all the time. Lately I’ve been doing it again. 😉 Just not here.
So what else?
I now have 2 potential adopter’s of Coco. The first, the dog walker, is really starting to get under my skin. She sounds awesome, on paper. I had a home check scheduled for this Sunday which had been scheduled 2-weeks ago. Today I get an email saying her landlord is doing work on the house and she’s worried the noise will scare Coco and the place will be a mess…yadda, yadda, yadda. Now she wants to come meet him at my house on Sunday. 😉 I said yes, but that it does NOT waive me having to do a home check at her house. She’s starting to yank my chain. I don’t know how long she expects to keep on the fence about this. Her big fear is he won’t get along with her 3-cats. I keep telling her Coco pays absolutely NO attention to my own cat and hasn’t since day one. I said it would be entirely up to her cats how they react to him and she should know how they react to dogs since she’s a dog walker. *rolls eyes*
I just got her vet reference back and it was fine, other than a couple areas which are niggling at me.
- She’s never had her cats checked for feline lukemia or HIV.
- She’s behind on their shots.
- She doesn’t protect her cats from fleas and ticks.
But her vet comments she’s a good person and he feels she’s ready for taking on a dog.
It’s probably me, being overprotective of Coco, I just don’t want him shuffled around anymore. I’m also worried that this keeps dragging on because he’s becoming quite attached to us and I am becoming attached to him. But that’s the price I pay every time I do a foster/placement. Meh.
Brian’s healing is coming along. He’s up to 60% ROM now … we’ve been told he’s done with the easy part now. Poor Brian, every time he thinks he’s mastered the hard parts he keeps being told, "Uh uh uh! You are only at the beginning!" He was in so much pain the last time I went to PT with him there was literally steam coming off his head and shoulders! He was beet red. Poor guy.
Work is work. Blah.
It’s totally gorgeous outside today and I wish I were anywhere but here.
I wonder if she does a natural remedy for anti flea and tick? The cats behind on shots would be a disqualification on my end, however. How far behind? Anything more than a month would raise a red flag. I also wonder if she’d be on top of his heartworm pills if she hasn’t had her cats checked for HIV? I dunno much about that, so I dunno if that’s a routine thing or not. I am glad Brian made it thru the first initial PT. I know it’s hard 🙁

He-he, I take every song I sing to on the radio and throw Val’s name into it. Good luck finding the right candidate for Coco. I’m glad to hear Brian’s physical therapy is coming along. Tell him that when he’s done you’ll be fighting back the gals checking out his toned up legs. My father had some serious calf muscles after he finished his PT.

I applaud you for being such a good foster mom in choosing Coco’s new mama. But I don’t think *I* would pass your tests.
