When Men Are Left Home For Too Long. (Pics)

Okay, back story.  Last weekend I went to the nursery and spent $100.00 on plants and materials to replant my window boxes and patio containers.  With the weather going to turn worse (it frikken snowed yesterday, like a blizzard at times!) these all had to be brought inside so they didn’t die and I didn’t wind up wasting $100.00.

 
Brian calls me at work yesterday and says, "I brought all the plants inside.  They’re on the kitchen table." 


I reply, "thank you?" 


He replies, quite proudly I must say, "Well!  so Salem (the cat) doesn’t get up on the table and eat them I built a FORT around the table." 


I reply, "What?!?  What the hell did you build a fort out of?"  Trying not to laugh.


Even prouder he replies, "Christmas Paper!"
 
All day long I sat here at work not worried about what I was about to see when I got home.

And this, my friends, is what happens when a man is forced to stay home.  This is what I came home to:



What you have to realize, dear readers, is that this is my entire kitchen table wrapped in christmas paper.



The funniest part about this fort?  The part you cannot see is that he actually "built" support beams out of rolled up newspapers to go along the perimeter of the table to hold this up.
