So this morning I took Gizmo in for a detailed dental.  He has one bad tooth we know of that is being pulled.  Got a reminder that he turns 7 this year.  I cringe.  I hate when they get old.  I want them to stay with me forever.  They’re going to take another look at his eye once he’s under to see if they can do anything about the entropian until I can afford to take him to the only specialist here in Massachusetts for laser surgery.  That will set me back at least $2500.00!!!!  I just can’t right now, you know if it were at all possible I certainly would have it done.  But in the meantime when I took him in last week to get it looked at they saw the bad tooth.  Cha ching today’s bill will be over $500.00.  They also said his eye isn’t scratched or anything — so the eye surgery isn’t desperately needed right now.  I’m using an eye drop that’s thick right now and that’s helping.  I also have some super antibiotic eye ointment that they gave me for when it starts to look a little gooey.

Evie’s birthday is this month.  I am baking her a birthday cake.  If anyone wants the recipe let me know.  I’ve got lots of dog delight recipes I’ve collected over the years because I write quite extensively for our rescue group’s newsletter.  I write a column called "Gizmo’s Gourmet Goodies" — I’m all about illiteration ya know.  There’s also "Kismet’s Kosmic Konnection" and "Miko’s Mutterings" and then just plain ole "Dear Evie", a spin off of Dear Abby.  Advice for dogs.  It’s really amusing.  Any hoo…

Not much else to report, had some really good sex with Brian Saturday.  We had a lovely day and did something I can not ever remember us doing.  No, not sexual.  Saturday was so nice out we spent most of the afternoon and early evening just laying in the grass at the beach.  Then we went home and sexed it up.  THEN I got sex AGAIN that night.  Someone needs to stop the presses!  Hee hee.

He was feeling it again this morning but I had a seizure yesterday and cracked my shoulder pretty good when I fell.  I wasn’t in the mood, I was in too much pain.  But I gave him a hand, if you know what I mean.  Because when he shows interest in sex I certainly don’t want to rebuff him.  😉

I still have Coco the Foster dog.  *sigh*  Everyone that has applied somehow disappears.  I think most people don’t expect me to do as thorough a check as I do.  The last couple was an eldery couple in their late 50’s living in Rhode Island.  They said they have approval for a dog under 25 lbs.  I contacted their management office yesterday and have yet to hear back.  I’ve emailed them twice letting them know what’s happening and where I am and have not heard back from them either.  🙁

I cannot frikken believe they are canceling my favorite show of all.  The Gilmour Girls.  WTF?!?!  Bah!
