American Idol: The Girls, As I Heard It.
Oh no, how did I forget to record American idol tonight???? Grrrrrr. So I watched on my computer, even though it sounded tinny. Not the best way to hear but that’s the way it goes.
Ok . . .
Asia’h — Dance with Somebody — She sounded good. It seemed fine. Nothing extraordinary. — Ok, saw the recap and she sounded a whole lot better than on my computer.
Kady — Who Wants to Live Forever — She seemed like she was slightly above some of the notes. Not her worst performance, but she’s not terribly appealing for a pretty girl. — On the recap, it doesn’t sound like it went too well.
Kristy Lee — Faithfully — It was fine. Nothing exciting there either. It sounded like she went a little out of control at the end, but that could be my computer sound.
Amanda — I Hate Myself for Loving You — She sounded ok for what she does, but this isn’t the right show for her. — The recap clip sounded pretty good.
Carly – I Drove All Night — It sounded like it was well sung. Not one of my favorite songs, but I think she sounded ok.
Ramiele — Against All Odds — I really like this song, and I can’t fault her voice, but it seemed very 80s. I wonder if her sexy pictures scandal has sapped some of her confidence?
All right, at least I have these two recorded so I can actually hear them —
Brooke — Love Is a Battlefield — I liked her take on it. I like her.
Syesha — Saving All My Love — is she nervous tonight? This seemed like a weak performance for her. I think it wasn’t the best song choice for her. I was disappointed in her tonight.
Ok, I really only got a good chance to hear the last two and I liked Brooke.
Who should go home, based on my tinny computer sounds? Kady. And Amanda.
So what did you all think?
Amanda, I think.
