The day after…
The party last night was an amazing success. The food was great, and my guests helped out by bringing in a boatload of munchies. The event was pretty good as well, and one of the better Wrestling PPVs I’ve seen in a while. Thank goodness cause I’m shelling out $50 for it! I had a lot of friends there and everyone had a great time watching the event and enjoying every bone cracking moment. Some matches were boring and predictable, but there were others that went over well and blew the crowd away. Overall, it was a fun night had by all and while I might not host another wrestling event anytime soon, it was nice to have some friends over. I missed new episodes of the West Wing and Sopranos to watch it, but I’m going to download them to catch up. The hard work was all worth it as everyone had a great time. Now the real work starts as I gotta clean the place up. It’s a complete disaster. But with a little more elbow grease, I’ll get that taken care of tonight. It’s an ugly job, but someone’s got to do it.
I was sooooo tempted not to show up for work cause I was exhausted from the party, but resisted. I’m here a the center now and working away taking calls and what not. I have tomorrow off so I’ll catch up on my sleep then. Later on this week when I get my cheque, I plan to hit the local theatre and catch a movie. I was thinking of seeing Basic Instinct 2, but am more smitten to watch the new Spike Lee move titled ‘Inside Man’ starring Denzel Washington and Clive Owen. With Spike and Denzel working together, you can’t go wrong. So hopefully I’ll get a few friends to go out and check that out with me. Also a friend of mine asked me to consider going with him for a little paintball mission. Sounds like a lot of fun, and I’m game for a little paintball wargames. Combine that with the upcoming Alice Cooper Concert, and April/May could be some really fun months.
Though I do miss Leah and the kids a lot. I wish I could be there to help her out with the night shifts and feed Jonathan. Leah says that Jonathan is still starved after bottles and they’ve started to give him a little bit of cereal to fill him up before bed. Ethan is having a lot of fun out there. He loves to go outside and hang out with Grandpa and play with the St. Bernards and now has a swing set to keep him occupied, which is cool. My Dad is chipping in a lot more and giving Ethan a lot of attention and I’m sure Ethan appreciates that. So it’s nice to know everyone is making the best of the situation.
When I get home, I’ve got a little cleaning to do… will get something to munch on and also catch a new episode of 24. Until then, eveyrone have a great Monday and I’ll be around…

Inside Man is a good film, cleverly written and definitely worth a look!
