My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. I'm going on 45, divorced, and with three kids that I am super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries will be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there will be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of OD since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member, so I'm glad to be back... and so glad to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

Hooray for Natural Immunity…

September 20, 2021
After my decent clash with covid, I can now breathe a little easier, both literally and metaphorically, because according to recent studies natural immunity from previous infection is thirteen times stronger than any vaccine out there. It also protects better against current and future variants w...

  • Peter, now with Covid…
    September 4, 2021
August was a very interesting month for yours truly. A lady that I was dating went to a party, and she brought back a party gift: Covid-19. I actually told her not to attend the party cause there were too many people, and no one was wearing masks or social distancing. The vaccine was making…

  • Things are finally looking up…
    July 13, 2021
It took Ontario way too long to get their shit together, but we're finally opening things back up over here after watching other provinces and many states in the US go back to normal way faster than we did. Restaurants are allowed indoor seating, movie theatres are reopening for the first time th...

  • When Dogs Attack…
    June 24, 2021
We could try to approach this from a more positive angle... up to this point I managed to avoid getting bitten by a dog for almost the first forty-six years of my life. That's a pretty decent streak, which unfortunately ended over the weekend. I regret to inform you guys that I was attacked by&he...

  • Good times are here again!
    June 17, 2021
Everyone is getting outside and enjoying the fresh air, despite the science now proving it was safe to go out in the first place. The World Health Organization now saw Covid is not transferable from surfaces. That means we've been closing businesses and restaurants for no fucking reason. People's...

  • The Absentee Uncle
    May 20, 2021
I got the call on Sunday afternoon. My father's older brother had passed away that morning. The man had been diagnosed with something pretty bad, so we all knew his time on this world was finite and that day I learned just how finite it was. I want to say that I was emotional or…

  • Mum’s May Day
    May 9, 2021
On this mother's day, I've been having a rather a lazy day. Did a bit of reading, watching baseball on the tube, and even doing a bit of writing but not as much as I should be. I didn't do anything special for mum's day today, as I gave Kat's mother something nice on Friday.…

  • Theme of the Week (# 27 – 36)
    April 10, 2021
It's been over a year since I last responded to a 'Theme of the Week' question, so I'm kinda due. I prefer to post a few at a time, save up questions and do them in bulk like a survey. I find it better than doing an essay per question cause sometimes the answers are…

  • The Madness of March
    March 22, 2021
It's hard to believe that it's mid to late March already and the weather is getting nice. The last few months haven't been too challenging, so I am pleased to report that I've been relatively healthy and am still kicking. I hope that this entry finds everyone on OD doing well and in good health.&...

  • Good bye 2020; don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
    December 31, 2020
To say 2020 has been an interesting year would be quite the understatement. It's been quite a shit storm but I'm less than twelve hours away from checking out of 2020, and I am counting the hours and minutes. It wasn't what I would call a terrible year for me, but it wasn't anywhere near…
