My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. Just a bloke in his forties who's divorced with awesome three kids that I'm super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries will be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there will be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of OD since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member, so I'm glad to be back... and so glad to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

  • A long, overdue update…
    July 19, 2023
Okay, here we go. Two months is a long time to neglect the diary so here we go. The biggest news that happened is that I took a test.  In order resolve issues I'm not in the mood to discuss I took a paternity test regarding little Emma. We collected spit samples, mailed them to…

    May 28, 2023
If you've read my diary before, you're aware that I love going to concerts and hearing some awesome music in person. • I’m Still Standing…
    April 4, 2023
While this is a popular Elton John tune, it also happens to express how I'm feeling right about now. While I'm doing my best to keep working and writing, I'm just trying to stay above water and not let life get the best of me. It's been about two months since I posted anything here,…

  • Peter goes speed dating…
    February 2, 2023
Yesterday I did something that was clearly out of my comfort zone: I went speed dating. There are a few reasons why I chose to do this, and one of them being this particular event being held in my city was only for people who are ages 40-55. Considering that I'm smack dab in the…

  • 300 Sonnets… and writing goals for 2023
    January 1, 2023
One of my writing goals of 2022 was to write 300 sonnets. A few years ago I released a book titled 200 Sonnets, and I'm on track to release my next volume of Sonnets (500 of them) in two years. If I write a few sonnets a week, I should have no trouble self publishing…

With the worst films out of the way, now we can concentrate on what I believe are the best films  the year. This year had a lot of good movies that made 2022 quite memorable at  the local theatre. I love checking out movies with Ethan, and as a former critic for Film Threat and…

    December 7, 2022
    1. Do you put ketchup on hot dogs? No, but I don't judge because I put Mayo and barbecue sauce on my hotdogs. 2. Choice of soda pop? Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper. 4. Do you put salt on your watermelon? I try to avoid using salt as much as possible, so this is a…

With the holidays around the corner, I felt it would be interesting to post something here on the diary that I have been grossly neglecting. I still can't believe we're less than a month away from 2023. This year just seemed to fly right by and while I am sorry for not being here as…
