My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. I'm going on 45, divorced, and with three kids that I am super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries will be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there will be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of OD since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member, so I'm glad to be back... and so glad to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

World Of Monsters Sequel Fund…

April 12, 2021
On the advice from a friend, I have started my first kickstarter. I recently finished writing a novel titled "World Of Monsters" and to say it's been one of my more popular novels is a total understatement. On some of the online story sites, this novel has generated as much as 400,000 views, with...

  • Theme of the Week (# 27 – 36)
    April 10, 2021
It's been over a year since I last responded to a 'Theme of the Week' question, so I'm kinda due. I prefer to post a few at a time, save up questions and do them in bulk like a survey. I find it better than doing an essay per question cause sometimes the answers are…

  • The Madness of March
    March 22, 2021
It's hard to believe that it's mid to late March already and the weather is getting nice. The last few months haven't been too challenging, so I am pleased to report that I've been relatively healthy and am still kicking. I hope that this entry finds everyone on OD doing well and in good health.&...

  • Good bye 2020; don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
    December 31, 2020
To say 2020 has been an interesting year would be quite the understatement. It's been quite a shit storm but I'm less than twelve hours away from checking out of 2020, and I am counting the hours and minutes. It wasn't what I would call a terrible year for me, but it wasn't anywhere near…

  • October is over… bring on the NANO!
    November 1, 2020
The month of October is over, and now NaNoWriMo begins! I am going to participate in the event known as "National Novel Writing Month" for the 16th year in a row. I'm going to write straight through to Tuesday and then take a break to watch Trump kick some major ass. Last weekend, I celebrated&he...

  • This is corruption, and it matters…
    October 19, 2020
Last week the shit seriously hit the fan, and the democrats I keep in touch with are all panicking. This was the October surprise they just didn't want to see. Yet here it is, exposed for all to see and examine for themselves. For whatever fucked up reason, Hunter Biden left a laptop at a…

  • October Surprises…
    October 19, 2020
No, this isn't going to be an entry about Hunter Biden. As interesting as that might be, I'm not in the mood to discuss it. I might do a political entry later... so consider yourselves warned. Just wish there was a Politics Circle to post them on. A part of me is surprised that October…

  • Hanging with the boys, 2020 edition!
    September 17, 2020
Every summer, I take the boys for two straight weeks and this year my ex had a very big request. She and her husband just bought a new house and wanted me to watch the kids for the last two weeks of August, which would allow them to pack up, move and settle in without…

  • Oh boy, it’s September!
    September 8, 2020
Are you guys happy this year is flying by, or just relieved that we've all managed to make it this far into 2020? Considering the pandemic, the riots, the lock downs, and every other fucked up thing happening this year... I have a feeling that by the time it's all said and done, 2020 will…

  • This needs to be addressed…
    August 27, 2020
How many people have to be shot in the streets, and how many businesses have to be burned to the ground before governors and mayors realize they've lost control and call in the national guard? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for peaceful protests but what's going on in Portland, Seattle and other cit...
