My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. I'm going on 42, divorced and with a few kids that I am super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries will be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there will be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of OD since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member, so I'm glad to be back... and so glad to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

Summer’s just flying by…

August 4, 2018
Another month is gone, and can you believe it's August already? Last week I ended a very amazing July but attending the Evil Twins concert in Toronto. My best friend and I ventured into the big city a week ago Thursday to see Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, but unfortunately Manson cancelled and c...

I had Ethan at my place last week while Jon is at summer camp. We haven't been doing very much this week, just hanging out and chilling... doing what he would've done at his mamma's place without the need to hire help for an hourly wage. I really enjoyed the extra time with my oldest…

  • An evening with the Zac Brown Band…
    July 15, 2018
Two days ago, on Friday the 13th, I ventured into Toronto again to check out another kickass concert. This time, I went back to my beloved Skydome (officially known as the Rogers Centre, yuck) to check out one of my favorite Country acts known as the Zac Brown Band. I don't listen to as much…

    Taking steps and working out
    July 4, 2018
I found that whenever I weigh myself too often, the weight goes up and down so much it will depress the shit out of you. So I decided to only weigh myself once and never look at a scale again until a specific time later. Whenever I get my infusion at the IV Clinic, they…

The boys finished another year at school and I couldn't be more proud of them. Ethan managed to get through his year as a minor niner, and did so without any incident or lifetime scaring of any kind... which is more than what I could have hoped for. Ethan was also lucky to get such…

    June 24, 2018
That shower curtain I mentioned in the previous entry arrived yesterday. It was delivered to my brother's place first and my Dad dropped it off yesterday with a few other things from big bro. I hung it up about an hour later, and it looks pretty awesome. I haven't told Ethan it arrived yet, and&h...

  • Buying cool stuff on Ebay…
    June 22, 2018
One of the best things about working for my writing clients, is I get paid in US dollars. This in turn makes it easier for me to pay for cool stuff on ebay without worrying about converting dollars and other math shit. So I've been doing better the last few months and am even almost…

    Doing what poets do…
    June 12, 2018
I haven't written a lot of poems in the last few months, but I am determined to change that. One reason for that was the stroke, because I like to hand write a lot of poems before transferring them to the computer. I also wrote a lot of my poems at the laundromat, when I…

  • An evening with Daryl Hall, John Oates, and Train
    June 6, 2018
Today was the long awaited concert I bought tickets for back in March to see Train as well as Hall & Oates. I've been looking forward to this show as has my brother Chris who I bestowed the other ticket upon as a belated birthday present. He's been a Hall & Oates fan forever, so…

  • Patronage is suddenly a bad word…
    June 4, 2018
I don't know why, but suddenly asking for donations is taboo and politically incorrect. For some deranged reason, websites like patreon.com that are used to help crowdfund artists is being blocked by websites like youtube or fanfiction dot net because artists are supposed to work for free and not...
