My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. Just a bloke in his late forties who's divorced with three awesome kids that I'm super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries could be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there should be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of Open Diary since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member. I'm glad to be back... and am happy to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

Not much to look at, but according to the person who was conducting the test, everything looks normal. Well, as normal as it can look at this stage. And I did ask; they couldn't tell what the&he...

I've always been a huge fan of this Tom Stoppard play. I have a copy of the script on paperback that I've read several times, and the DVD of the movie starring Tim Roth and Gary Oldman. So, when I heard there was a production of the playing coming to Toronto in March, also staring…

    January 1, 2024
I thought there was no better way to kick off 2024 here on OD than to post what I thought were the best movies of the previous year. In a nutshell, 2023 was a pretty decent year for movies, as there were more original films than there were remakes or sequels... and while I hope…

Holy shit balls! Can you believe this year is almost over? It only feels like yesterday the year was just getting started, and now we're about to waste money on gifts and festive cheer in the blink of an eye. All the kids are suddenly a year older and we've lost some beloved friends and…

    500 Sonnets
    October 20, 2023
A little over eleven years ago, I decided to do something different when writing what was going to be my third poetry book. This was going to be the second poetry book that I would self publish on Smashwords, and I wanted to do something different. My first self-published poetry book, titled "Rec...

Okay, here we go. Two months is a long time to neglect the diary so here we go. The biggest news that happened is that I took a test.  In order resolve issues I'm not in the mood to discuss I took a paternity test regarding little Emma. We collected spit samples, mailed them to…
