My name is Peter, and this is my Diary, back from internet limbo. I'm going on 45, divorced, and with three kids that I am super proud of. I'm a writer, so entries will be fast and furious when the fingers are in a mood. I write comic books, novels, and poetry... so there will be no shortage of material here. I have been a member of OD since June of 2000, and am a lifetime member, so I'm glad to be back... and so glad to see OD is back as well.

Catch you on the flip side,

Peter

For my mother…

April 26, 2022
When I was younger, and too young to be aware that times were tough, my mother used what scraps we had in the fridge to prepare our supper. We were living from cheque to cheque back then and were less than two days from payday so Mom did whatever she could with whatever was available.…

I'll be the first to admit there is a time and place for heads to come together and to work out your differences. Air your grievances and give your adversary a chance to counter it and come to a compromise. I've taken this route many times, and that most of the time is the best…

    Unvaccinated, unmasked, and unafraid.
    February 27, 2022
I’m going to be up front from the start: I have trust issues. I have really serious trust issues. I have so little trust/faith in humanity that I actually look both ways before crossing a one way street. So, when it comes to showing trust and/or faith in a person or institution, I do not…

The new year is off to a rather familiar start. More lock downs, my team gets the shaft in the playoffs and snowflakes are still whining like someone shot their damn dog. More things change the more they clearly stay the same. I don't know about you guys, but I hate reruns. I don't want…

    An Interview about my writing
    December 15, 2021

I am back with another update, and while things are alright on this front not all news has been good. But before I get all depressing and moody, I'll start with the good stuff and work my way down. Yeah, that's how I'll do it today. The kids are doing well, all three of them.…

  • Farewell, Mr. Bond…
    October 2, 2021
Well, after several delays I've finally seen the movie I've been looking forward to for quite a while... Daniel Craig's 007 swan song. No Time To Die is the newest addition to the Bond franchise, and the twenty-fifth (Yes, 25th) film does not disappoint. And for those who were worried abou...

  • Hooray for Natural Immunity…
    September 20, 2021
After my decent clash with covid, I can now breathe a little easier, both literally and metaphorically, because according to recent studies natural immunity from previous infection is thirteen times stronger than any vaccine out there. It also protects better against current and future variants w...

  • Peter, now with Covid…
    September 4, 2021
August was a very interesting month for yours truly. A lady that I was dating went to a party, and she brought back a party gift: Covid-19. I actually told her not to attend the party cause there were too many people, and no one was wearing masks or social distancing. The vaccine was making…
