One month later
Today I had a good day at the gym. I worked the chest and tricepts again today and worked them hard since I didn’t have to go to work today. I also did a lot of cardio and worked my legs really hard too. I was sweating and huffing up a storm when it was all said and done. After I worked my ass off, I hit the scale for the first time since I started workout out and got some good news.
After working out and changing my diet since March 19th, I’m 13 lbs. lighter than I was when I came home from the Wedding. That’s a big number. A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. It’s double fucking digets!!! Steve (my personal trainer) is going to shit when he hears this! I just hope he doesn’t think it was too much loss for one month. I feel great and to celebrate… I took myself out for a treat.
And no… it was not a fat, take out food kind of treat. It’s just something I don’t usually buy cause it’s a tad expensive. I treated myself to a Banana/Soy Power Protein Shake and a grilled chicken fajita. Both are low in fat and high in protien, so I have no intention of straying just cause I lost a few pounds. If anything, I’m inspired to keep eating healthy. So that was my idea of a treat, a healthy power shake… which I think Steve will approve of cause he’s been bitching about my low protien intake. I might get a few more cause that one really tasted good too.
I’m feeling good today, and told Leah and Dad a short time ago. They’re both happy about and hope I will keep this up. I plan to and will keep doing this for at least a year since that is how long my contract with the gym is. At this point I also plan to renew if I’m still working at the center next March… there’s no telling what I will look like then. We’ll have to wait and see.
So that’s been my day so far… hope everyone else is having a bitchin’ Tuesday!
