Weesprite’s meme

The first meme request came to me from Weesprite, whose name I had seen on other favorites before we began noting each other.  She is a spiritual woman who has raised a son and daughter while married to her now ex-Air Force husband living the military fanily’s life of here, there, and everywhere else.

1.  Something random.

2.  I challenge Weesprite to  umm…ahhh… be extra nice to the cats who live in her yard.  (we gotta stick together, us cats, you know)

3.  The color I most associate with the sprite is green – green in many shades, from a lumenesant glow to the deepest green.  She seems well attuned to the natural world.  She often writes of walks she takes around her home, and of the wonders of Delaware and the Atlantic coast.

4.  Something I like about Weesprite, well, besides her being a constant reader of mine, is that she is a matured human who has been open to the new experiences of her life as she moved around with her now retired Air Force husband, which almost ties for what she’s shown us of her mothering skills and determination.

5.  My first memory of her is a note she left on an entry of mine, "What is a man?":

6.  Weesprite reminds me of a bird, a happy, curious bird.  Not, perhaps, a small one who can hide out, but a larger, more colorful bird, who spreads her wonderous plumage and shows us all while she sits on the Open Diary tree.

7.  As for a question I’ve always wanted to ask her… I cannot think of any unanswered questions – no serious questions anyway, that I have not asked and received an answer to already, so I’ll pose this rather stock question instead and ask, "What is it about Open Diary that you like best?"
