a week ago in The Gorge

 

 

 Last week and the week before, we had below freezing temperatures and some of the waterfalls in The Gorge froze up, and I drove out to see them.  I drove out to Multnomah Falls on the freeway but came back to Portland on The Old Highway, and made my last stop of the day at Chanticlear Point, the site of Women’s Forum overlook:

Usually, I walk out to the far wall of the overlook and take pictures of The Gorge, but I thought I’d get a picture of what the overlook looks like.

Here at Women’s Forum it was 26 degrees and it was very windy – cold!

The gorge wasn’t the only thing looking frosty….
