a short note

 I have been using sitemeter since an Australian reader told me about it in 2006.  I was bitching about having no readers, and she gave me the link to sitemeter,  It turns out that I have a lot of readers, just not a lot of noters.

It makes my day, lol, to have a lot of readers, it really does.

My friend/ex-wife comes to see me in the summer.  This summer, sitemeter was showing 98,000 page views of this diary, and I told her "I betcha I pass 100,000 by the end of the year".

I was wrong.  I passed 100,000 page views in October.  I emailed her last night and estimated that I would make 104,000 by the end of theyear.  Wrong again; I passed 104,000 page views on Christmas Day.

990 more reads by the end of the year, making 105,000 page views since October 2006?

Betcha I get close.  It’s quite possible that I will pass 105,000 before the end of the week….
