Update to the last entry.
I hate waking up depressed – who doesn’t?
I registered with jobdango, and posted a resume, and applied at a bus company here, and within two hours, got an email: "When can you come and put in an app with us?"
I suppose I should get used to it – it’s damn dark before the dawn.
I don’t know whether I’ll see a "sunrise" out of this or not, but, hark! I hear birds singing.
I do have a Class B CDL, for buses, with a Passenger endorsement and an Air Brakes endorsement too – I can drive anything they have.
And I will, too, if it comes down to it.

You know, if I were a hiring manager, I would hire you just because you take no guff, are straight forward and seem like you get a job done efficiently. I see all these people posting on facebook and OD, all over the place really, how they wish they could find a job, or how they hate their job. I guess for some the grass is always greener on the other side ya know? But it’s guys like you thatI see and think, now THERE is someone who wants to work. Like myself, I want so badly to work. Why is it that these pansy ass whiners have jobs and the hardworking folks like you and I don’t? Guess that’s just part of what is wrong with todays world. Maybe the saying shouldn’t have been “the meek shall inherit the earth” but “the whiney shall inherit the jobs” lol.
