It’s like this, see

Here’s the deal:

This is my back-stage area. It’s not always pretty or "together" or even very organized, sometimes. Maybe it’s kinda ugly sometimes. I don’t look my best here, a lot of the time. I feel like I can take off the mask, my public face, here, and be as honest as I’ll probably ever be in print. You should be glad I’m not totally honest, sometimes, because, well, be glad, ok?

Things kind of suck, right now, and I wail and moan here about it sometimes – that’s not very pretty either.

It’s Monday morning. In about two hours, I need to be at the bus company’s office, the one who picked out my resume on Jobdango’s website, to put in an application – they emailed me Friday and said "when can you come in and make an application". I’ll do that in a few hours, and maybe maybe maybe that will work into a job and I can stop stressing so fucking much.

(that’s another thing about the backstage – I swear sometimes)

My public face online is Kurtmundt.com. That’s all pictures, a lot of them directly from here to there, with a bit of editing. I’m in the process, with a lot of help from Ginger and my daughter, of setting up that site and building a place that sells my photography, which I think is pretty good. If you want to see the nice NWC, that’s a better vantage than here, maybe, cuz backstage, it gets kind of messy.

Thanks for reading, even if you don’t leave any notes or anything, cuz Site Meter tells me that so many people read so much. It doesn’t tell me who, really, or even where, a lot of times, but just to know that "someone" looked back here is kind of gratifying, cuz it gets lonely backstage, sometimes, and it’s nice to know I’m not Really alone.

I always say "onwards", and I mean it, but sometimes I get, oh, I dunno, sidetracked and off on tangents, another function of the backstage. In Real Life, I try to stay on that "onwards" course as much as possible, and it’s good to have a backstage, because right now, in these times, it’s hard to stay the course. Thanks for dropping by; I hope you’ll come again, and I’ll try to pick it up a little bit, so it’s not so messy – you guys help me, ya know, and I very much appreciate that. Thanks.

Leaving a note so I’m not just a lurker đŸ˜› Found your diary on random! I’ve lived the first 23 years of my life in Kelso, WA and then 3 years in Spokane, WA before finally moving to the east coast last fall. I dearly miss the Pacific NW, and find your pictures to give me a little bit of home =)

Ryn: Thank you for your kind words. I donÂ’t spend my days in a rocking chair, yet đŸ˜‰ Trash cans, yes. IÂ’ve used them frequently to balance a camera for those self shots. Also once for a city skyline shot when I had no tripod. Went to a bigger air show earlier this year, it was an aerial parade over San Diego Bay; celebrating 100 years of military aviation. There weredisplays from just about every decade of Navy planes. Blue Angels, too. Very cool. Apparently, San Diego is where it all began in 1911.
