I started writing on OD on 4 4 04, so this begins my tenth year of writing here.
I haven’t been writing at all the last couple of weeks. These meds have screwed up my sleep times, and I find myself being a night cat, staying up all night and sleeping all day. Yesterday. I meant to break the pattern and stayed up all night and made it to 8:30 am. Couldn’t stay awake and sett the alarm for 12… and lsitened to it go off three times and rolled over and slept until 5 last night. I got up for awhile and by 11 pm I was ready to lie down and reset… and then the alarm that I had set – for 12 AM – went off and we went through the same thing – slept through those snooze alarms.
It’s 2:30 am now. Best laid plans and all that.
I know that Winco, a 24H grocery store, is open all night; it’s a good time to go shopping.
I feel like I’ve been traveling through a long tunnel.
maybe what meds you are taking aren’t the right ones for you. might want to talk with whoever decided you needed them. there are others out there that might be better for you. take care,

I agree with gray tabby. Though, it could also be a case of the right meds but the wrong dosage. *shrug* I actually prefer to do my grocery shopping in the middle of the night when possible. Parking is always good, you don’t have to fight through the obstacle course of other customers, and there’s never a line at the register. 🙂

Arrh,I can appreciate what you are going through. My teenage kids were on christmas vacation and kept staying up til 3-4 am, sleeping was difficult so kept getting out of bed to get them to go to sleep.I’d then sleep til 11am.its so hard to get back on trach til you really have to. Now school is back we have to be up at seven.Knowing its a really important thing to be up makes you do it somehow…

We all felt jet lagged the first week, feeling tired and lethagic but now we are tending to wake up more naturally with the alarm clock. I guess if you got a job, or had some early appointments you’d be more ready to get up and get back on track. Its easy if you have incentive!! best wishes,
